Ketchup

The medicine cabinet in the bathroom was yucky. I hadn't owned the house for 24 hours when I took it down. Since the only tool I had at hand was a hammer the destruction was very fun.


The wall behind the medicine cabinet was gross and mis-painted. It also has a hole that has been oddly patched where I'm assuming an old light was.


The sink wasn't offensive in the grand scheme of the world but I don't like it. Since I had to remove it to work with the floor I have chosen not to return it to its previous location.


The floor had vinyl on it at one time and that was covered with carpet. After I removed the carpet I realized why the vinyl had been covered. I also learned the floor by the front corner of the tub was rotted. I covered the floor with 1/4 inch plywood and concrete layment and then used peel and stick tiles that look like tile squares.



The wall behind the sink has been half a$$ed. The wall was cut away and the plumbing was in. It did not have a cut off so Embroidery Boy saved my butt and put new cut offs on it for me.


The floor after the toilet was removed and part of the flooring was cleaned up.

Party Time

Saturday is the housewarming party for my sweet little house. It still needs a name. I'm leaning towards "The Submarine" as in "We all live in a yellow submarine." Any ideas, let me know. Oh, as you can tell I found the cable for the camera.

Oh, and the party- I've got all the paper goods, the sausage and other goodies for the cream can, the beer is ordered, Beer Boy brought over a good set up for the keg, and things are going well. I need to clean the patio and then we'll have a good time.
